Sampling Question

Noob question:

I downloaded a sound from FreeSound.Org, and today I went to go look for it again and the user has deleted, i have no idea which license they allowed for the sound. Now on this site they have a creative commons license, attribution license and non commercial license. My question is the sound I have used ( an airplane taking off), is it ok for me still use it legally? its a freakin air plane taking off that this guy or girl recorded its not his sound its just his/her recording, does that really matter for sounds like that? (car starting, airplane taking off or a door slamming). I have altered the sound and plan on selling my beat, should i just do it or not? can anyone help?

if it's just a generic airplane take off sound then you should be fine.

Ok cool thanks, you dont think they'd try to burn me for using a "sample" like that?

also i forgot to ask, worst case scenario the user can tell its his sample, cant i just be like no its not, i used a vst or blah blah, or i got it in a sample pack? its not like its a sample from a song, how can he even prove it?
