Samples are bigger than your music?

Yes and No.
When you think about it, you're probably flipping a song you really enjoy anyways. So in the end you'd think no matter what you do it's not going to be as good.
But on the other hand you're taking something artistic and making it your own. If you do it well it's actually in another class of music...there's nothing like sampling.
Usually when I loop I don't feel as proud of a track when comparing it to chopping, layering and ect.

LMAO most times because that's a really unfair task to undertake dude the people who made that sample you chop are PROS.

Every single one of them.

Not jack of all trades, more like aces of ONE specific thing, lots and lots of aces, with resources.

Not always....you could find a garbage song with a 5 second gem and turn that 5 seconds into a good record

how could you even compare a soul song (for example) to a hip hop beat tho...lol. Like everyone said either you flip it right or it just aint tight!

lol @ corny rhyme
