Nope, Stick to FL and just get a MPD 32.
Use Edison to record your samples from your turntable and normalize it. And use the Drag function in Edison to drag it over to Slicex by holding your mouse.
Normalize it again in Slicex. Make the Attack +1 and make the curve as high as possible (i mean also with that circle on the curve up as much as possible) to take out the plops at the start of the chops. Start chopping. when finished chopping use "Play to end" option in "Tools".
And than go into your Piano Roll and start sequencing.
And of course get a midi-keyboard which also comes in handy to play your samples since you can use more than 16 chops at once on a midi-keyboard and of course to add your own keys?
