removing static from a sample?

i took a piano sample and slowed it down quite a bit and there is static flowing throughout the whole thing. I'm totally new to the mixing and EQing aspect of beats so i wouldnt know where to begin. I'm hoping i can just slap on an EQ or somethin else and adjust some levels?? I can post the clip up here if it will help, though id have to learn how to post beats first.

Thanks

Any EQ'ing you do will affect the entire sample, and seeing how its a piano, and their frequency range is so wide you'll probably end up doing more harm than good... You can try a restoration tool like Izotope's RX, but even that will change the quality and character of the sample... best bet would be to try sampling it again, unless its a sample you got from somewhere else and not your own vinyl/ a source you can change to get rid of the static
