releasing sampled beats?

sup fam. So this is my first post and i thought i'd start with a question. i'm a beginner, so I've started off making some beats with loops and samples from other tracks. (i've only started shifting to hip hop production in the past few months.) Can i release a beat tape with my samples even though i don't have the money to clear them. i've heard that if you give your tracks away for free, you don't have to clear the samples (that's why rappers who make mixtapes don't get sued blind). If so, where is the best site to release a tape? my first thought was bandcamp, but they have a policy that says that you have to own the rights to the stuff you upload. thanks for the help guys, and since this is my first post, if I did something wrong, tell me :)

peace,

It's very (in your particular situation) unlikely that you're going to run into any legal wrangles on a free mixtape.
It could happen but it's unlikely.
I'd do it myself but it's your risk so your call.

You do own the rights to your tracks (it's the samples within that are in question) so BandCamp is a good vendor... DatPiff is worth it as well - they pretty much specialise in mix-tapes.

You need to worry less bruv - enjoy your grind.

Thanks man. I appreciate the response. I've always been a bit of a worrier (I'm trying to work on it :) ) I'm still learning, so it'll probably be a while before I'll be releasing anything (might have asked this question too soon :) ) Anyway, thanks again for the reply
