Record Player

So I have been sampling off of a youtube converter for a while, just trying to get better and saving up money. I am going to but a record player at the end of this summer. I've heard the needle is the most important part, like people argue that you can just get a cheap record player and spring for an expensive needle. I dont really know what I'm talking about when it comes to a good record player or needle. I've also heard you need a interface or converter which I'm not familiar with either. I have a nice vinyl collection already so I'm excited to get started with some real sampling. Im sure a lot of people here know their stuff when it comes to this. I'm trying to keep it affordable but at the same time get some good quality equipment that will last a while. Let me know what you guys think, I'd appreciate it.

I bought this set-up about a year ago, I believe I spent about €250,-.

Stanton T.62 turntable
DAP Audio Stage Cube PreAmp
and a cheap Behringer UCA-202 audio interface

$100 for the Numark TT USb,no interface needed. It's not ideal for scratching but you will definitely be able to sample with good quality.

Peace
