Really good lead sound plugins/packs?????

chop em out of records, that's what i do. i look for long single keys held that i can chop out. if not try a new soft synth or look into buying an analog synth maybe?
might want to look into omnisphere for this typa sound. diva is great as well.
 
Imo zebra or at the very least omnisphere over nexus or sylenth.
Then there's sampling videogames anime old stuff from the 90s-all of history.
Then there's learning basic synthesis.
 
If you're willing to dive there's alotta pretty good free stuff on the web, just search Google. If you're good at moving and tweaking sound you can actually make off with some decent lead vibes in your tracks.
 
On this topic, can anyone recommend a great synth plugin, preferably for $200 or less that will work with ProTools on Mac?

Last I checked Sylenth wasn't compatible.
