This has probably happened to every digger. You go through your newest additions, one of which has the sickest sample you've ever heard - its too bad the record was poorly pressed and its hardly worth sampling! As I'm writing this I'm listening to a Leon Spencer album, there's a wicked sample here but its in such poor quality. Last time I was in this position was when I picked up a Bo Diddley LP with a classic break barely spitting out of the wax for me.
How often have you been in this situation where you pick up a rare, or hard to find LP only to be smashed in the ears by a poorly pressed cut?
