I have recently purchased a roland mc808 groovebox. I previously had and still have the roland mc505. Im having trouble figuring something out on the groovebox. I turn off all the channels of the instruments using part mute and pick one I like using the part select. I thien proceed to mess about with the sample using the filters etc however a few seconds into doing this the sequencer kicks in automatically and brings all the other parts into play. Is there a way to turn off the auto sequencer thingy? I guess another way of putting it is that its on autopilot and I want to turn that feature off so I can really spend ages tweeking the bass samples.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
