"Not getting sued for your sampling production"

Manipulation is key with samples. If you destroy it with your own flavor then they cant sue... they wouldnt even try cause they wouldnt notice.
That is not true at all... The people that own the rights(labels) can always sue. Even if you chop it up and mangle it.

For most producers being sued isn't really an issue unless the resulting track is being used for an commercial purpose.

Sorry that post was somewhat biased.

They can sue, yes. But its highly unlikely they will, unless your just constructing a song full of there samples then parading on a car saying "YO, I MADE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS!"

But as I said before, give it your own flavor and you're most likely not going to have legal issues. If you do, just take it down man... unless you spent 3 months on it or something. Then try to reach a compromise, even if this means splitting profits.
