Newbie question

You can't just 'lower' the drums. You can remove the low end frequencies. Put your sample on a channel in the mixer and bring up the Fruity Free Filter on that channel. Run a High Pass and start the frequency at 100 and go up & see it how sounds. You gotta play around with the Filters and EQ.
