Need help with sampling

I'm new to sampling and own a maschine, and mpk 49, and also have logic. I have a lot of songs to sample from and i know how to chop and everything and time stretch. My problem is how do i go through a song and pick which parts to chop so that i can make them flow together and make a melody? I struggle going through and looking for what to take and then how to make it into something that sounds good. Someone please help and give me advice! Thanks in advance

Also I don't know if anyone has posted anything similar because i am new to this site, and need some help. Please post advice here or links to other threads that will solve this problem
 
There's no formula for this.
That's why 5 people can use the same song and make 5 different tracks.
Take the parts YOU LIKE and work with them.It might be hard at first but you have to
practice to get better.
