Need help with my MPC4000

Whats up im new to making beats and the MPC 4000 I got thic CD-Rom with sample kits on it Im trying to get the samples to play on my 16 pads having problems can anybody? thanks

you have to load a kit and assign it through the program button or if u are loading single sounds you load them and assign them using the program button then assign touch each pad scrolling the wheel and it will assign the sounds u loaded
 
thank you G-child I reall appreciate ok one more Question I did what you said but now when i REC I cant stop REC and start it again it starts all over with no sound it want let me test a sound before i want it in the beat thank you
