Making synth and instruments from samples/ableton 9 *New Kid*

Hey guys! I'm here to learn, not plug myself so this is not my stage name. Just call me Otouto (Little Brother).
Anyways, I'm looking to learn the best ways to get samples and produce the samples in my program. I use Ableton 9. I like Sadboy beats, vaporwave, chill trap, and slow tempo jazz.

I'm looking to chop some notes of Japanese instruments, deep vocals, and fresh drum samples. any advice on where or how to do this, I would love you forever!!

Dude I suggest you chop and place stuff manually on the arrangement view in most cases... If you wanna make patches however sampler(suite) is your best friend. You can load multiple samples and change their key ranges individually, even velocity ranges. You get two LFOs and the filter is pretty sweet. With some added ausio effects, the possibilities are limitless.
