long time lurker, first time poster.
What's your favorite method to making censored radio edit of a song?
My favorite method lately involves using Ableton taking the automation for pitch and putting points at the end of the curse word, then creating third point in the middle and dragging it down -24 steps to create a pitched down/up effect.
I find it more effect on some words more than others, so that let me to wonder...what other good methods are there?
I know of reversing, muting, and covering with another noise...so what other creative techniques could there be?
Maybe something involving a vocoder.
