do you guys frown upon or agree with looping? personally i see it as somewhat stealing but i cant help but want to loop a song that sounds perfectly fine and just rearranging a few parts. but like i said it feels as if im stealing and im breaking the holy code of the sampler.

do what sounds good..sometimes people destroy the whole vibe of the original with wack chops..it defeats the whole purpose of sampling that song in the first place. I find a loop is a good base for a beat, u can always add stuff and layer other parts of the song on top to change it up

When people started making beats with samples the idea was to find great loops. People started chopping due to the limitations of the equipment at the time. Don't buy into the hype there is no rule against looping and most classic tracks are looped.

unless youre a famous producer then find an unknown loop that no one will find or sampled before.
the beat sounds nice when its switched up at least 3 times adding or subtracting sounds
