Looking For This Sound

Hey guys!

So, I'm looking for a similar sound to the "sax" that ""screams"" in the beginig of the track "Sun Goes Down" by Robin Schulz or the "screams" in Vintage Culture's "Wild kidz".

I know i'm being a little vague hahaha, but I think ya'll will understand.

Anyone know how they did it? Or some similar samples?

Here are the links to the tracks:

Thank you

I think they are actually two different sounds, although they do sound similar. The one in the "Wild Kidz" thing sounds like a solo violin bowed with quite a bit of reverb. The "Sun Goes Down" thing could be synth, could be a sample heavily tweaked, or a number of other things. For instance, the "bird/seagulls" sounds in the Beatles "Tomorrow Never Knows" were just multi-tracks of an edited tape loop of Paul McCartney laughing, sped-up double-speed:

Yes, they are different. For me, the "Wild Kidz" thing sounds like a heavily edited vocal chop and the "Sun Goes Down" thing is like a sample.

Those bird sound were cool haha.

Thanks for the reply

If you listen to the "Wild Kidz" carefully, I believe you can hear the bow sound and the pitch bend that would indicate a string instrument/violin, at least that's my take. But sure, there are so many things that either one could be. I'd go for the feel and concept, and not worry about the specific sound.
