Logic Pro Sampling Issue

Hey everyone, I have been on youtube and doing my homework on logic and I understand the basics and I just learned how to sample, the only thing that is really frustrating is that once the samples are assigned the keys in the EXS24, when i press the key it plays the whole sample or "note" and i don't want it to do that, does anyone know how i can set it so as soon as i let go of the key the note or sample stops playing as well?

in the exs24 menu where all your samples are loaded, highlight all of them and uncheck the column that says "1shot"... ur welcome
 
are you guys having the issues of the sample only playing when the Record button is high lighted on the global tracks?? thats giving me a problem now i do not know how to fix it
