Live Help Needed

Hi,
I've got a synth sample which I need to be able to play at a live performance using a midi keyboard. How can I do this using Ableton Live? I've tried loading the sample into both Simpler and Sampler, but both of these squeeze/stretch the sample when a higher/lower note is played.
Anyone got any ideas? Using another DAW isn't an option, and neither is using any VSTs with Live.
 
does it stay the same throughout the loop? you can try looping it and easing up the fade and attack of the sample so that you can hold the note as long as you want.
