My opinion doesn't make a difference but I think your drum programming is tight so you can make a good beat but I think you should broaden your sampling horizon. Just mix it up, instead of sampling 60's soul music take something from early eighties rock or 70's soundtracks. It might also be good to work with different tempos and time signatures. this is just something to think about.
