Im having a real problem

i have a mpc2000xl and whenever i try to sample my samples just never sound on beat at the tempo im using im not a rookie but need some help i try to make sure i chop on the 1 for the sample but somehow it seems to fall off beat maybe im listening too hard and i might be my worse critic but thats how i see it i know how to chop i just need help keeping the sample in line and tune at a desired tempo much help needed thanks.

i also try to make 4 or 8 bar sequences and link them together in song mode. Is this a good idea i also dont have a problem laying down drum patterns so no help needed there just with sampling thanks

come on fp i need help all these people here and i cant get a response help me out here thanks

instead of looping your sample just retrigger it on the one like
trigger-2-3-4-trigger-2-3-4
no matter what your tempo is your sample will trigger on the 1 (as in beat one)
oh yeah and try tap tempo while your sample plays to lock in the tempo as close as possible
