How do you find your samples? Match them up?

What I like to do is have a keyboard handy so I can find the key of the sample. Then I'll pitch the samples so all the keys match up. Then I'll chop the samples up and mess around with them until I find a way to fit them together that sounds dope. I'll do this over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again until it's right or my head explodes.
 
anytime i do a good DJ mix, i get a feeling over my body. sometimes, my hair stands up on my arms. a good mix, should really do something to your soul. look for sounds that move you.
