is there any plug ins that are legit 808 drummachines?
if not how do other peopel who dont own a real 808
make their drums sound liek 808s

how does lil wayne make his kicks?
 
failing that, there are plenty of 808 sample packs knocking around quite cheaply!

Most hip hop/rnb artists tend to use 808's + 909's so im sure lil wayne might use them either all the time or every now and then

did you even go to the link?
if you did you would realize that drum kit comes strait from the roland tr 808 raw and uncompressed
that kits came strait from the 808 machine itself...its the real deal
and its not my kit btw
 
on a side not... lil wayne does not make kicks... he is not a producer... please get your terminology right.
to answer your question .... download an 808 sample pack....

dont layer two 404's from flstudio. 404+404 does not =808
 
I don't like 808 samples takes too long to find the right sample when an 808 is such a simple sound. this video shows how to make them from scratch there's also an 808 vst based on the actual drum machine. D16 Group Audio Software - Beyond Perfection - Nepheton for some reason hip hop producers stay on samples when using a drum synth or making your own on a regular synth gives you so much more flexibility
