Help creating that smokey cloud rap sampled sound

Hey, How do i get that smokey reverb sound without losing the definition of the sample in reverb?

they really didnt do too much to it..... but its filtering. play around with the top end frequencies with your low pass filter.

Disagree - uses a high pass filter to knock out the bottom end and then some subtle tweaking with the highs pre and post reverb
