Fruity Loops, some trouble

Hello.

I've had some trouble when I make beats in FL 4.5. As you allready know, there are patterns for every sound. I experimented with a beat and it worked out nice, but the patterns are longer than the sounds, so when I play the song there's an un-necessary break before it loops. Still issues

Hmm, well, the live-mode was unchecked. But I tried to check it anyway to see if the problem got fixed, but nothing happened.

What version have you got?

What does live mode do anyway?

It doesn't loop the track, it keeps playing. I have FL 5.
Usually live mode was made for performances on stage when using the lap top and FL for gigs, but it fulfills the purpose when being home

Oh, I should have guessed. I'm on a hunt for a laptop for live performances. But until then I use my mp3-player, haha, doesn't look much for the world compared with a laptop.

Is the sample on beat?

The red "bars" so to say, in the pattern, are too long, so it leaves an unwanted pause. I wonder if it's possible to make them shorter? Check the picture and listen and you'll probably get what I mean.
