FL Studio: Slicex Pitch vs. Edison's Pitch

Hi Guys,

I have two ways of sampling that I'm having trouble with.

1. In Edison, if I chop a sample and drag it into the Playlist, I'm able to change the pitch of the sample. It retains the same BPM. So if a song is 80bpm and I turn the pitch up to give it a chipmunk sound, it'll still remain 80bpm.

2. In Slicex, if I drag a sample into it, and I change the Pitch up... it'll also change the BPM. So instead of staying at 80bpm, it goes up to 110bpm.

Does anyone know how to go around this? What I'm ultimately trying to do is have my midi keyboard with say 10 chopped up sections assigned to each key. I'd like to change the pitch while retaining the BPM. It sounds easy but I just can't figure out how to.

Use Fruity Slicer instead of Slice X. Just chop the sample in Edison and drag the sample into Fruity Slicer (which will let you turn pitch up/down while retaining the same BPM).

if im not mistaken the granulizer can do what u need....
Imma try to find the video again... but it was posted to a similiar question as yours
