**Digging adventures - post what you get**

dont you love it when rare records say they are rare but in fact theres 1 billion of them around the US and europe. Its worse on ebay when you see Songs In The Key Of Life and the seller says rare record. lol

LOL ya, that shit cracks me up. The sad thing is, (clueless/dumb) people believe it and pay the prices.
I also always get a laugh when they have "BREAK" or "SAMPLE RECORD" in the title, then they have the price jacked up to some stupid number. Usually they are just dollar bin type joints.

I made the mistake of buying a brothers johnson record i never saw before and it said samples and breaks and then I reported dude for selling me a record with no breaks and won

i forget the title it had the sky in the background with a purple logo in the left hand corner id know it when i see it

Look out for #1
One of the first albums I bought. Killer album, not the greatest for sampling.

LOL!

and ya cheers to saturday drunkeness!

Ya, I don't really find any of Brothers Johnson stuff good for sampling. They do have a killer break though.
Regardless, great listening material.

I don't know if you guys have heard them on Quincy Jones' album Mellow Madness which came out a year or so earlier, so dope!

Here's a few joints I caught at the local Thrift Shop today. 99 cents each. If y'all don't know about Sandro, you should check him out.

Peace

The Joan Armatrading's called "Show Some Emotion" 1977, as far as Dee Dee, I knew about "Foolish Fool" but not much else, so I figured I'd give it a listen.

Peace

Dee Dee Warwick has that fire. And one of my favorite breaks ever, not on that album, might be one on there though.
That Aretha Franklin is on point too.
Good shit.

Some stuff I got this morning, the flea market was pretty dry.
Only walked away with these, a few 45s and some classic rock records w some breaks..

That Persuasions is actually a classic, in the A cappella realm, considered their best work. I think I have "We Came To Play".

Whats that 1 on the bottom left?
