Cubase - WAV Sample to a Midi Instrument

Hey Producers,

Ive been doing my thing for 2 years now and i wanna have some less work with my sample pitches.

Using ableton i know i can easily root a Sample to a Key tone and then Play with the midi Keyboard the Sample in different Pitches like C to a half tone less or whatever.

It would be much easier to find good melodies if could do same in cubase.

With grove agent one it does take way to long to add every sample in every pitch using the pitch shifter plugin before.

there must be an easy way

believe it or not this is done through autotune software like newtone or melodyne.[they detect the notes by the exact time from what i witnessed]

Of all things that can do that...it's autotune software that does it.

its retarded cause ableton can do this in a minute in realtime. melodyne is kinda expensive . maybe im will try ableton to do my full productions. i just like the interface of Cubase alot

Although i use studio one I think cubase could do that too.That sheet music thing it has.
