Clicks on my chops

sometimes when i chop samples on my mpc 2000xl i get a liitle click sound at the beginning of the chops, how do i make it so this doesnt happen?

add a little attack to the samples I can,t tell you how to do this on a MPC because I use FL

are you sure its at the beginning??? do you hear the click when you trigger the sample and let it loop or when you just trigger it once... I find that usually when I have a click on a looping sample its actually the end of the sample coming back around and not meeting the beginning at a zero crossing point... you should zoom in and make sure the sample starts and ends in silence

you can avoid clicks with compression with fast attack.

load it into your computer and add a fade, probably only 5-10 ms. i don't have an mpc, but i would think you could hopefully skip the whole usb thing.

if u hear clickin,den u prolly not choppin at the right points,i have that trouble sometimes as well,just re sample until the chop is perfect

I don't have an mpc but I would try putting a slower attack on the chops..

you should turn the attack 1 up. (In the MV-8800 it was 0-127 attack, than put it on 1) not anymore cause you will start to hear silences between the chops like Apollo Brown.

on cool edit pro there's a feature where u can remove clicks/pops, that sh1t is a lifesaver

i got also , clicking when i sample chop! even if i play with the pitch nothing helps
