Chopping samples directly with midi-controller (MIDI-Map)

In Cubase you can set up a MIDI controller so that you can chop samples directly with the press of a key.

Yeah but I use Kontakt because I write scripts for it but even then I don't chop my samples on the fly in my sampler I do it in Cubase by assigning the QWERTY keyboard shortcut for split at cursor (Shift+X) to a key on my MIDI keyboard so that when I hit the key it slices the audio, in Cubase you can assign almost anything to a keyboard shortcut or MIDI key etc.....I also have it set up so that I can slow down the playback speed while I am slicing on the fly.......I then move the slices into Kontakt, it's just a lot quicker that way but if I wanted to I could load a longer sample into my sampler and trim it that way but it will take a lot longer to get the job done.
