What is this Vocal Effect?

My friends band used an effect across the vocal track and I can't figure out what it is and they refuse to tell me. It makes the whole thing sound ambient and smooth. Anyone mind giving a listen to see what they think it is?

ha it's not that big of a deal.. they just know it bugs me not knowing.. that's why they do it.
