What I need to improve my mix?

alright I've been listen to Johny Juliano beat everyday. I like the way he do aight. so I made this beat like his style. please check out my mix and give me some tips to improve my mix. thanks all

Do you use a trim plugin to set up gain structure on each channel?

Also are you using a mix bus on your drums? i.e sending all individually mixed drum parts to two channels to make a sub mix, you can then play with compression etc to glue the drums a little.

If you get the technical foundation right it will give you a solid basis to get jiggy with.

I thought it was a cool beat anyway man.

you shouldnt wanna mix it and make it like someone else, be creative and do your own thing. usually you want the snare/clap to be loudest followed by the drums, and just bring everythin up accordingly
