I just recorded some demos of my band with a nice matched pair of dynamic mics, with my basic Tascam US-122 (2-channel audio interface) and the strange thing is that the left channel (left mic) has this really annoying high pitched frequency. The right channel is clean as a whistle. Why is this?

Is there a frequency killer in Logic Pro 8?

    thanks a lot.

Swap the mics and leads around and test each time , you should be able to work out either which mic , lead , or channel is causing the problem .
Forget about the "frequency killer" you need to solve this problem not try and "hide" it .
