Tuning my Vst instrument with a sample

    Hi everybody,

My main concern here is to make sure that a sample that I use in my beat is tuned with all my vst instrument(other way aroud).

1-Beside the sample matter, are my vst tune the same way?? Do I need to perform any tuning between my vst when i use them together?? For example, I use Reason and Kontact sound library.

2-For the sample, I know there is somekind of tuning needed to be done. What I normally do is find some obscure 1975s melody on Youtube and sample into Sound Forge. I then send it to Recycle for chopping time. I then export it to Dr Rex and play it in my beat. I actually notice that the mix rarely match perfectly. The sample itself has probably been detuned in his travel between the coming signal(cd, tv, tape...) and Youtube. It may also be caused by the fact the composer(of the obscure melody)tuned his instrument on a unsual tone. How would you manage to make my sample match with my Vst?? Just looking for basic guideline.

    Thanx

Example:I want to play a Reason NN-TX piano line over a sample loop(a 4 bar melody...3 simple chord)?? Is there a way to tune it right?? Do a tune the piano or the sample? is there a program to calculate all that??
