hey, okay i duno if im gona explain this right but here it goes....before i say anything, im doin music in my bassment which is unfinished, and my setup is in a corner. im doin hip hop music which involves lots of low bass ( sine wav)....everytime i make a track with lower bass, and then change to higher bass its to loudd, is there any effect i should be adding to make all the notes samee DB??....I have behringer truth
b2031A monitors, but i cant here the bass for some reason, but when i move away from the speakers i can here all the notes, then i go by deciding if i need to lower or raise the volume. Would a matching subwoofer if i was to buy one and put it in the corner opposite to my setup??....

Also, when i listen songs that have been made already with vocals, and on my speakers the dont sound so surround like they would in a car, is it cuz a car has 4 speakers...everything sounds so different it sounds like there is 4 channels instead of 2 if im sayin that right

It's not the notes, it's the room. Your "notes" accumulate at those higher notes and might cancel out in the lower ones.

its the room, a sub is only going to compound the problem. move from the corner, get the monitors away from the wall, set the monitors at ear level, equal distance from each other and your ears, so the 2 monitors and your ears form a triangle. thats just a start, do a search on here for room treatmeant and see what info you can find. there are plenty of threads on here that give good tips in this area. hope this helps.
