Using what s/ware hardware?
A quickie tip: take a clap and pitch it right down, -2 octaves and you have a thunder clap. Do the same with a tom sample and you have a thunder attack. Take a noise sample(white ortpink) and pitch it down the same and apply some filtering.
Tell us what you got and we'll tell you how to use it to create effects.
Grab a sound module like a yamaha MU and you'll have all those sounds onboard.Does anyone know how to produce some good sound effects that are conviencing. i.e. gun shots, lightining etc etc....?
I'd say your best bet is grabbing a couple of effects sample cd's. some of those are very affordable.
Mungo the GM and XG soundsets are crap man, especially the effects, same old gunshot we've had since the D110 days.
