i've been working with pro tools for a while professionally and at home...
i can't use a different program like logic or nuendo or whatever because sometimes i take projects home with me... and 99% are pro tools files...
i have a digi002r with a command8 i like working with the setup i have although i don't like the converter (i don't like the ones in the 96 and 192 interface either) and the headroom on the 1-4 input...

but let's get to the point... i need more inputs and i really don't have the funds to get a hd setup... i've was looking at the m-audio lightbridge first it's a 4 i/o adat interface and than a rme adi ds 8 converter or something like it... they both go up to 96khz... now they're comming out with the profire 26/26 it has 8 inputs and 2 adat ins so combined with the same rme converter that's 16 inputs at 96khz... 8 of good quality and the 8 m-audio ones... but i don't know if pro tools supports 96khz through adat i've emailed digidesign but they won't email me back...

are there any other options to get more inputs in a pro tools le or m-powered setup???

    thanks

you shouldn't have problems with the lightpipe.

side note if you have a mac logic is compatible with pro tools sessions and the pro tools TDM hardware right of of the box. so if you have a mac you can get more use out of your pro tools stuff that way. the adat lightpipe will work fine with p/t
