Ok, I'm upgrading my equipment for recording hip-hop vocals. I am going to buy the AKG Perception 220 Mic and the PreSonus TubePre.
My question is this:

How do I connect the Preamp to my laptop?

Do I need a new soundcard to get the quality from these pieces of equipment?

Please explain in lame mans terms. I have been reading more and more and the more I read it seems the more stuff I have to buy.
