partial effects in FL studio?

i laid down a flipped sample with the FPC in FL studio, and i was wondering if it's possible to apply an effect (chorus, reeverb, etc.) on the mixer, but only to a part (1 or 2 bars) of the FPC channel?
 
I think you would need to automate the effects...
you kno inorder to bring them n & out as needed...
probably n a send channel....
-others here can tell you better then i can....
 
Automate the ammount of the FX applied to the mixer channel. That little button right of the name of the FX in the FX slots is this ammount. Right click it and choose "create automation".
