Anyone recommend anything? I'm looking at going with emu0404, but i don't know if my hpze4560 has pci 2.1 compability (which i don't even know where to find this at). I am looking for a card that has two 1/4 output/input cables preferabbly, peace and thanks in advance for any suggestions/comments.

Its going to look like a preamp but it also has a/d and d/a converters and some sort of usc/pci/firewire i/o to connect to your laptop. This is what you would call a audio interface.
