What is the best way to Mix and master vocals with Fl Studio? Which preset helps best and what critiques need to be made to make vocals sound clear and crisp. Im trying to figure out how to master songs fully.

I honestly believe even though you can record vocals with FL Studio, you should use something thats specifically made for that like Pro Tools, Audition, etc. FL Studio is more geared towards making beats so a lot of the presets are really more for that than vocals.

no matter what Daw you use, it all comes down to the recording. make sure you look up gain staging and you record in a nice quiet space. after that look up EQ and Compression and learn how to mess with that, that's the best way. presets can be a good starting point but I wouldn't advice relying on them to mix.

    Peace.

You will first need to look for the "high shelf eq" for adding some brightness/crispness to a vocal. Try one starting at around 10kHz, watch out not to make it too bright and sibilant.

Second mastering is a completely different process than mixing. See the 2 as completely different processes.

Mixing = balancing all your multitrack sound sources

Mastering = fine tweaking of stereo 2 track mix to enhance, help translation, quality control and balance level with other tracks. To be done with very fine grade equipment. (sometimes mix advice from a highly experienced engineer is sought from the client as well, which is fine)

    cheers
