    Ok, so I have a Acer Aspire 5251-1513 , it has no firewire port , it also has no express card or pcmcia slot either..... and I need to connect my profire 610 ..... What should I do?

    heeeelllllpp me "please" :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

    I don't think theres a usb to firewire converter eh?

    Am I stuck to buying a newer laptop?

    I hate to say it but you are screwed on this one. Even if you were able to find a usb to firewire adapter it more than like will not work correctly.

    You are probably better selling your 610 and getting something else rather than buying a whole new laptop. This would be cheaper in the short run.
    I saw a girl texting & driving the other day & it really made me mad, so I rolled down my window & threw my whiskey flask at her.
