KRK G1 vs G2

So I am fortunate enough to have run into a situation where somebody is offering me 2 8" KRKs G2 for $300...

The first thing that comes to my mind though is... This is too good to be true and there must be something wrong with them.

I am assuming they are 2nd generation as the 'G2' is at the end of the model name. However I want to be 110% sure.

Can anybody verify this for me? I'm new to KRK's and well yea I want to be sure. I tired an image and web search on Google. but i get mixed results.

The g1 is square with sharper edges. the g2 has softer roundish edges

Damn that's a sick deal man I would take them.

I've been tempted to grab some krk's used but I always hold back because I don't feel sure about used monitors. I want them to last me a long time so I don't know the previous user affected them.
