Battle Champion!
Lately I've been listening to a lot of Jamla artists, and therefore Jamla/Soul Council producers..
I've noticed that 9th, Khrysis, Eric G sometimes, and others get a certain extremely clean kick/bass sound that just bounces. its hard to describe..
Normally I would chalk this up them being music industry professionals, but I feel like this sound is almost unique to Jamla producers.
Listening to older 9th wonder beats I do not notice this, but I do in a lot of his newer stuff.
Has anyone else noticed this, or am I crazy??
And does anyone know how they might do this?
Heres some examples of the sound I'm talking about:
