Inline console vs Split Console

the signal flow in an inline console is easier to remember.i use both, and have used split consoles as inline. it dont really make a difference to me.

split consoles are more difficult to work with, you definitely have to think differently and using a split setup will force you to track differently as well.

they also require a lot more patching and grouping to make proper use of your insert effects.

nowadays, there's really no reason to _not_ go inline unless there is a specific console you want for a specific purpose - i.e. you found a really nice one for a good price, and track to 24 ch 2 inch.
