How to connect KRK's to a Laptop/Macbook Pro?

Im getting KRK Rokit 6's in a few months. I would like to know, first of all;

What is a good audio interface to purchase which is going to work with both my Laptop/Macbook and with the KRK's?

What cables will I need?

And,

Where do I plug each cable into on each bit of equipment?

I am running krk's on my macbook once in a while, very easily set up, I have a lexicon i onix u22 audio interface, the krks are plugged into there, you need two xlr active monitor cables which go in your monitors, into your audio interface(and two power cables for the monitors), this interface (the lexicon ionix one) is usb, so I can just take it out of my PC, plug it in my macbook and change the output and everything works straight away.

what is your budget? Audio interfaces can be dirt cheap (M-audio, beringher) or cost thousands of dollars (Apogee, Prism)

well, i have a focusrite saffire 6 usb, and i believe i can use it with that?
