Hi, Like alot of other people/artists out there I have a basic home studio set up. I record some of my own material and a bunch of friends too the question I have is in regards to mixing vocals

I encourage all the boys myself included to record vocals in one take. I'll get them to record 3 or four takes and they pick the best one to work with as I do myself. Now some of the boys have one lead and two more to play with but one of the boys freestlyes every verse so there is no chance of getting a second take to mix with
as for me my words are all strung together say like eminem so each track is different (im not talking about bad timing, I mean the words accentuated differently)..

I've seen tuts on other artists where they have one lead and two dubs panned hard left and hard right for that full sound then addlibs and all that but what can I do when mixing someone like myself or a freestyler other than your regular

eq
comp
reverb

any input would be good thanks
