This is a stupid question so i apologize but how do I find out what kind of hard drive i need for my computer(Tecnically, not for performance or manufacturer) . Also how do I find out if my computer can accomodate a second drive(technically and physically)? its a PC, Windows XP.

You can get any manufacturer (maxtor or WD) for example. If your computer is fairly new like within the last 5 years you probably have SATA connections on your motherboard. Can't say for sure but if you haven't added any hard drives in the past you have room to add at least one more. I think motherboards have a certain limit of hard drive space you can add but again if you haven't added any you have plenty of room left. Make sure you have SATA connections and buy a sata hard drive and put it in yourself or just take it to Best Buy and have them put one in for you. Just so you know this post doesn't belong in this section.
