Hi there everyone,
My name is NAVE and I'm looking for some constructive advice regarding my first DNB track . Have been producing more downtempo, electro rock, atmospheric and acoustic influenced music for the last 2 years and since my girlfriend introduced me to the world of dance music, I have been inspired to try writing techno and dnb. I know I lack production technique and I am learning new things everyday by watching online tutorials. Just learned about side chaining and automation and about to start putting this into practice!
So, here's the tune, I know there are bits which could be louder/clearer/brighter, but I am struggling with knowing exactly what needs to be done to really bring this track to life. I feel its already very high energy and has the potential to be outstanding if I just knew what to do with it to get it there! Here is the link: https://soundcloud.com/nave89. The track is called 'Let It Rain' .
Thank you so much!
