Designing VST Plugins

digi uses rtas plugins. also tdm.
fxspansion makes a vst wrapper that allows you to use it in ptools.

i have no clue what you guys geeks(no disrespect) are talking about. but i think plugo is home made vst's.

We're simply discussing what it would take to develop your own plugins from scratch, and why it probably isn't a viable option for someone with little or no programming background.

Pluggo's (if that's what you were talking about) not exactly "home made", but developed with max/msp, which could be described as a sort of "semi-graphic" programming environment aimed at audio & visual stuff...so the feature set is oriented in the right direction to start with.
